Globale Vernetzung ist einer der vielen positiven Effekte der Digitalisierung. Heute haben Autor_innen wesentlich mehr Ausdrucks- und Informationsmöglichkeiten als vor dem Internetzeitalter. Die Technologie führt häufig dazu, dass literarische Texte und Werke von Autor_innen migrieren, noch bevor sie selbst jemals gereist sind. Was sind die Reaktionen afrikanischer Autor_innen darauf und wie nutzen sie diese scheinbar grenzenlosen Möglichkeiten zu ihrem Vorteil?

Digital culture bears many blessings such as global connectivity. The world today offers opportunities of expression and information that were not available to writers before the internet. While technology often enables the work to migrate before the authors themselves ever travel, how do African writers respond to and make use of these borderless opportunities?
