Livestream of the Ceremony:

We are celebrating 100 years of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung

On 2 March 2025, the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung will be 100 years old. As the oldest political foundation in Germany, we are committed to the values of social democracy and are an integral part of German democratic history. Our non-profit mission is to promote democracy and to make it strong, combative and capable of resistance. This also applies today, when democracy in Germany and around the world is under greater pressure than it has been for a long time.

We will celebrate our centenary with two festive ceremonies in Berlin on 11 and 12 March 2025. We cordially invite you to join us via livestream at one or both of these ceremonies.

Additional information on the ceremony with Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and the livestream of the event can be found below.

Information on the ceremony with Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz on 12 March 2025 can be found here.
