Day of Progressive Economic Policy 2025 #twp25
Registration is open – sign up now!
Dear Reader,
This spring, a new German government will commence its work. In the face of economic downturn, uncertain global economic environment and climate change, the economic policy challenges for Germany and the European Union are considerable.
But instead of discussing progressive strategies, bold decisions and future-oriented investments to ensure both fairness and competitiveness, the 1990s free-market demands are being resurrected. We therefore invite you to discuss with us: what kind of finance policy will guarantee investments to ensure a future for the economy and society? How can we increase productivity, make better use of labour force potential and create more quality jobs? How can the social security system be further developed as the foundation for successful and sustainable economic growth?
Join the Day of Progressive Economic Policy on April 9, 2025, and discuss with Yasmin Fahimi (DGB), Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln (WZB), Enrico Letta (Jacques Delors Institute), Jana Maláčová (SOCDEM), Olaf Scholz (SPD), and Frank Werneke (ver.di), what a path towards more prosperity and social justice might look like in Germany and Europe. Let us think economics forward together.
