geoökonomische Verschiebungen, neue Handelskonflikte und technologische Abhängigkeiten verändern die wirtschaftlichen Rahmenbedingungen grundlegend. Zugleich stellen uns der demografische Wandel, hohe Investitionsbedarfe und zunehmende Verteilungskonflikte vor große Herausforderungen. Die Frage ist nicht mehr, ob sich unsere Wirtschafts- und Gesellschaftsmodelle verändern, sondern wie wir diesen Wandel gestalten – abwartend und verwaltend oder mutig, solidarisch und zukunftsorientiert.
Beim Tag der Progressiven Wirtschaftspolitik am 22. April 2026 in Berlin möchten wir mit Ihnen und unseren Gästen: u.a. Bundesfinanzminister Lars Klingbeil, Yasmin Fahimi, Adam Posen, Maja Göpel, Anke Hassel, Francesca Bria und Clara Mattei diskutieren, wie Deutschland und Europa auf die aktuellen Umbrüche reagieren sollten und gemeinsam Wirtschaft weiter denken.

Dear Reader,
geo-economic shifts, new trade conflicts and technological dependencies are fundamentally changing the economic landscape. At the same time, demographic change, a need for investments and distributional conflicts are posing major challenges. The decisive question is no longer whether our economic and societal models are changing, but how to shape this process – reluctantly and administratively, or boldly, with solidarity and a focus on the future.
At the Day of Progressive Economic Policy on 22 April 2026 in Berlin, we want to discuss how Germany and Europe should respond to the current upheavals together with you and, among others, our guests Federal Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil, Yasmin Fahimi, Adam Posen, Maja Göpel, Anke Hassel, Francesca Bria and Clara Mattei.
