 > (Sweden) have one thing in common: their mothers Livia Fränkel (née Sz
 muk\, 1927–2025) and Mira Teeman (née Miriam Teeman\, 1926–2008) were
  deported with their Jewish families from Hungary and Poland to Nazi death
  camps. Both of them survived and emigrated to Sweden after the Second Wor
 ld War to start a new life.<br><br>We will talk with the two daughters abo
 ut the impact of their maternal histories on their respective families. Wa
 s their persecution discussed within the family? Were questions asked? Was
  there silence? What did they learn from their mothers? How do they rememb
