 br><br>Die Covid-19-Pandemie hat deutlich gezeigt\, dass mobile Arbeitnehm
 er_innen unverzichtba-rer Bestandteil unserer Gesellschaft sind. Nichtdest
 otrotz sind genau diese Arbeitneh-mer_innen am wenigsten geschützt und an
 fällig für schwerwiegenden Missbrauch. Fehlende oder unzureichend durchg
 esetzte Hygienevorschriften\, Missstände in Unterkünften oder ein fehlen
 der (Sozial-)Versicherungsschutz sind nur einige der Themen\, die vieleror
 ts und euro-paweit während der Krise in die breite Öffentlichkeit gerate
 n sind. Unter mobilen Arbeit-nehmer_innen werden Menschen verstanden\, die
  nur vorübergehend in einem anderen Land arbeiten und ihren Lebensmittelp
 unkt nicht oder noch nicht in das Zielland verlegt ha-ben. Mobil bedeutet 
 nicht zwangsläufig\, dass der Aufenthalt kurzfristig ist. Das gemeinsame 
 Merkmal ist dennoch\, dass der Aufenthalt nicht auf Dauer angelegt ist\, w
 eswegen Deutsch-kenntnisse in der Regel nicht erworben werden und das Wiss
 en über Rechte im Zielland oftmals rudimentär ist. Vor diesem Hintergrun
 d entsteht eine Situation\, in der mobile Be-schäftigte besonders von Arb
 eitsausbeutung und Ungleichbehandlung betroffen sind. <br><br>Um die Misss
 tände bei der Beschäftigung mobiler Arbeitnehmer_innen in Europa nachhal
 tig zu verändern\, fordern der Deutsche Gewerkschaftsbund (DGB) und seine
  Mitgliedsgewerk-schaften\, flankierend zu nationalen Aktivitäten\, die E
 inführung einer Reihe von Maßnahmen auf der europäischen Ebene. Diese F
 orderungen\, die einen Schwerpunkt auf die Unterkunfts-beding der Beschäf
 tigten und die Arbeit von Beratungsstellen legen\, wollen wir gemeinsam mi
 t Ihnen diskutieren.<br><br>INVITATION<br><br>The Covid-19 pandemic has cl
 early shown that mobile workers in Europe are an indispensa-ble part of ou
 r society. Nevertheless\, it is precisely these workers who are the least 
 protect-ed and vulnerable to serious abuse. Missing or insufficiently enfo
 rced hygiene regulations\, malpractice in the sub-contracting sector and a
  lack of (social) insurance protection are only some of the issues that ha
 ve come to the attention of the general public in many places throughout E
 urope during the crisis. Mobile workers are persons who work only temporar
 ily in another country and have not or not yet moved their usual place of 
 residence to the coun-try of destination. Mobile does not necessarily mean
  that the stay is short-termThe common feature\, however\, is that the sta
 y is not intended to be permanent\, which is why German language skills ar
 e not normally acquired and there is often only a basic knowledge of right
 s and duties in the country of destination. Against this background\, a si
 tuation arises in which mobile workers are particularly vulnerable to labo
 ur exploitation and inequality.<br><br>In order to bring about a long-term
  and sustainable change in the employment of mobile workers in Europe\, th
 e Confederation of German Trade Unions (DGB) and its member unions propose
  the introduction of European measures to accompany national activities. T
 ogether with you we would like to discuss these demands with a focus on ac
 commodation conditions and the work of advisory centers.
