Social Democracy Monitor

The International Social Democracy Monitor makes available reform experiences abroad for use in Germany by introducing international measures and proposals into the German debate. Within the framework of this project, the International Policy Analysis unit and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung’s offices abroad draw on particularly relevant contributions to programmes, policy instruments and relations between political actors from the EU countries, North America and Japan and put them up for discussion.

By means of studies on changing party constellations, comparative examinations of current political topics and country analyses our aim is to stimulate policy debate on the question of what policy issues, processes and instruments can be developed on the basis of the experiences of other countries, taking into account different national contexts, for or in Germany.
