CONCLUSION
With this Programme the Bulgarian Socialist party gives an answer to the question of its ideological and social identification, of its long-term and immediate goals and of the ways of its realisation.
We are a modern socialist party. We are a party of the Bulgarian, European and world left. We are a party of the self-renovating democratic socialism.
The Bulgarian Socialist party strives for taking the country out of the crisis while protecting the interests of the poor and middle social strata; for democratisation, common welfare and modernization of Bulgaria; for realization of the ideas and values of socialism in a peaceful, free, democratic, just and human society in Bulgaria, Europe and world-wide.
We shall follow our aims via democratic ways, and we’ll achieve them by democratic means.
The Bulgarian Socialist Party is renovating and transforming itself into a new type of a socialist party in order to keep apace with the new times, with the most progressive tendencies in European and world development. In this way it has become powerful, viable and capable of pursuing a new, practical policy that is modernising the country.
The might of the BSP lies in it's continuing renovation and in the preservation of its unity, in its deep 100 years old roots and in its direction to the present and to the future.
We are coming from afar and well persist in the future. Because we work for Bulgaria and for the socialist ideas, which will live through.
