Internships at the foreign offices of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung offers internships at their internationally operating foreign offices. This applies to mandatory internships, voluntary internships during the course of studies and vocational training, as well as to voluntary orientation internships (up to 3 months after the end of studies or vocational training). Please address your application to the FES foreign office at which you would like to undertake your internship. Your contact and (contractual) partner is the respective foreign office and not the FES representation in Germany. An overview over the FES foreign offices as well as information on the possible duration of the internships can be found here: www.fes.de/de/standorte/fes-international.

As a general rule, the FES will pay a monthly allowance of € 450. The FES will not bear further costs incurred, such as flights, visa fees, evaluation of tropical fitness, and foreign health insurance. These expenses must be carried by the applicant.
